Fresh smoothie for flexible joints

Summer is the ideal time to make a nice fresh smoothie with delicious fruit . Preferably to drink it outside . And what if this smoothie is also good for the joints because of the ingredient Turmeric ? That’s another extra reason to dive into the kitchen soon!

Requirements:
150 grams of fresh pineapple, cut into pieces
75 grams of fresh cherries, stone removed
2.5 cm of fresh ginger root
1 inch of fresh turmeric root (or ½ teaspoon of powder)
Pinch of black pepper
Optional: teaspoon of fish oil

Blender or food processor

Here’s how to make it:

Finely grate the ginger and turmeric root. Put all ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth. Is it very hot outside? Then mix a few ice cubes for a delicious cold smoothie. Drink right away to make the most of the fresh ingredients. If you are saving some for later, keep the smoothie in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
